My experience in the Interior of Alaska

A piece of my heart will always be in Fairbanks, Alaska, where I spent seven incredible years. It was truly one of the best communities to have welcomed and embraced me when I moved to Alaska, and it’s also the place where I began my family journey.

I lived in a dry cabin (no running water) and we built a house on Murphy Dome where I was able to view amazing northern lights regularly in the winter months.

The interior of the Last Frontier has a lively and untamed landscape, with the Alaska Range, serene river valleys, endless taiga forests, and sparkling lakes.

This is a land of contrasts, where the relentless summer sun gives way to harsh, snow-laden winters. It’s the land of the midnight sun and a magical place to view the Northern Lights come winter.
