About the blog

Our family is my inspiration for Alaska Adventurers. As former Alaska locals, we’ve spent years living in and exploring this incredible state and have developed a deep love for the wild, uncharted beauty that Alaska offers.

This blog is my way of sharing that experience with you and helping you feel the same sense of thrill, peace, and connection we’ve found in the Last Frontier.

Whether you’re planning your first Alaskan trip or searching for new trails to explore, I’m here to help you discover Alaska like a local—and fall in love with it, just like we have.

This part of Alaska is one I go back to over and over again so it gets highlighted here for you!

One of my favorite places in the world is Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska. I have been traveling here for close to 20 years. We have a cabin in McCarthy, Alaska that we stay at for a month at a time every couple of summers.

From fly-in backcountry trips, flightseeing, glaciers, cool history, and epic hikes, this area has it all!
